Before requesting support, we recommend the following steps, which may clear
up your issue:
- Reboot the device. This works for everything from printers, to computers,
to monitors, to networking equipment. Almost everything electronic will
periodically need a "break", and a reboot will clear out temporary memory and
may resolve your problem.
- Read the help file. Did you know that pressing "F1" will often open
context-sensitive help, depending on what program you are using. Try it!
- Google. Type a few carefully selected words, and you will often see
that other people have experienced the same problem, and have posted their
remedy online for others to benefit. For example, if your HP LasertJet
1100 printer won't print in landscape mode, type: HP LaserJet
1100
